Thomas Family Census Records

In the course of the research I’ve done, I’ve been fortunate to locate a collection of census records dating from the 1790 census to the 1900 census on the Thomas family.

They are, in order: Theophilus Thomas census record. Theophilus Thomas, Edgecombe, North Carolina, 1790 Census, 4th from the bottom, left column

Theophilus Thomas census record. Theophilus Thomas, Edgecombe, North Carolina, 1800, Middle of the page (as Thomas, Theophilus)

Benjamin Thomas census record. Benjamin Thomas - Edgecombe, North Carolina, 1810, Second from bottom

Benjamin Thomas census record. Benjamin Thomas, Madison County, Alabama, 1816, record (no document)

Shadrach Thomas census record. Shadrach Thomas, San Augustine, Texas, 1850, line 14

Samuel Brown Thomas census record. Probably Samuel Brown Thomas, Mariposa, California, 1852, 4 from bottom. Only the end of the surname survives the torn edge (age 21, miner, born in Texas), so the identification isn’t certain

Samuel Brown Thomas census record. Samuel Brown Thomas, Mariposa, California, 1860, Number 9

Shadrach Thomas census record. Shadrach Thomas, San Augustine, Texas, 1860, Number 15

Samuel Brown Thomas census record. Samuel Brown Thomas, Chireno, Nacogdoches County, Texas, 1880, Number 43

Samuel Brown Thomas census record. Samuel Brown Thomas and William Clayborn Thomas, Nacogdoches, Texas, 1900, Number 63 and 69
